These guys were defending the base. I have been asked about technique to get these images - well the answer is that is is quite simple really. I converted the images to jpeg using Raw Shooter Essentials and then loaded them into Paint Shop Pro (I cannot afford Photoshop and I do not use pirate software). I used the convert to sepia tool using the sliders to get the effect I wanted - I did boost the contrast on some and sharpened (probably oversharpened, but it looks OK at this size). I used a much more sophisticated (and time consuming) technique with my image of Davey Brothers. |
